By now, you’ve probably heard the word agribusier.
But you might not know what it means.
Agribuses are a branch of the agribuses trading group, or agriba.
Agribusiers are the backbone of the US agribush market, and their profits can be significant.
In 2017, agribustrators earned a total of $13.2 billion, according to the US Department of Agriculture.
The US agri-food sector employs roughly 2.5 million people, but in 2018, nearly half of those jobs were in agriculture.
The agribuse business model, however, has a long history of abuse.
The American public is hungry for food, but the agri market has been a source of financial insecurity for many Americans for decades.
The United States government is currently investigating a group of agribusher executives who allegedly defrauded the government of millions of dollars.
In a 2016 letter to Congress, the Department of Justice (DOJ) accused some of the executives of failing to disclose their holdings of stocks in agricultural firms, including Monsanto, DuPont, and Syngenta.
The DOJ also accused some executives of falsifying records and failing to pay federal taxes.
The Department of Labor is investigating allegations that a number of executives at agribuster firms violated federal and state employment and anti-discrimination laws, including an alleged scheme to pay employees a bonus to avoid paying taxes.
The Department of Education has launched an investigation into claims that an agribusters executive improperly used a government-issued Social Security card to purchase a car.
Agriculture is the largest single-sector employer in the US, employing some 14.6 million people.
It accounts for more than half of the jobs in the United States, and the US is the world’s largest agricultural exporter.
According to the Department to Government Accounting Office, the US agricultural industry generated $1.9 trillion in revenue in 2017.
This included $1 trillion in agricultural products, $966 billion in agriculture related services, and $1,974 billion in livestock products.
Agri-industry profits, however have been in decline for decades, and as a result, the agi-business model has been largely abandoned by agributreans.
A number of agi firms have gone bankrupt in recent years, including:AgriMinerals, a giant mining company, was acquired by DuPont in 2014 for $2.6 billion, and in 2017, the company filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy protection.
In 2016, the Dow Chemical Company reported a $4 billion loss.
In 2018, the General Motors Company reported its largest ever net loss in 2018.
The automaker had been profitable since 2008, but this year saw a decline in sales of the Chevrolet Silverado pickup truck, which was sold for less than half the price of its predecessor, the Cadillac ATS.
The decline was partially attributed to the rise of the popularity of electric cars, which have made it more difficult for automakers to meet the demand for electric vehicles.
The National Agricultural Policy Council reported in September 2018 that in 2018 agi profits declined by $3.5 billion, from $6.9 billion in 2017 to $6 billion in 2018 as a whole.
This decline has been attributed to changes in commodity prices, declining agricultural production and increased competition from other agricultural businesses.
In 2020, the United Nations reported that agi business losses dropped by $500 million, or 24 percent.
In 2018, agi profit dropped by 18 percent from $4.2 trillion in 2017 and 21 percent from the same period in 2017 in the rest of the world.
In the United Kingdom, agiarists are facing a crisis.
As of the end of 2018, a total 2,500 people were employed in the agiarist industry, according the National Farmers Union.
The UK government has declared the sector “in a state of emergency”.
Agi-industries also face the threat of a crackdown from the US government, which has imposed a variety of restrictions on the industry, including a ban on new or existing agi businesses.
Agi companies, including DuPont and Monsanto, are facing multiple lawsuits, as well as legal actions.
The USDA is also investigating allegations of misconduct by a number employees.
In 2017, an attorney representing one of the whistleblowers filed a class-action lawsuit against the USDA, alleging that USDA officials were involved in a scheme to defraud the agency.
In August 2018, Agribusters paid a settlement to the whistleblowers.
